Pistol Shrimp can be caught in the Fish form's bubble "attack". At first you can think that it is a peaceful mob, floating among the Kelp Forest. But one time in a few seconds it summons a fireball that deals great damage to Naija. If eaten in the Beast Form, Pistol Shrimp will restore you a moderate amount of HP and grant an ability to shoot a limited amount of its fireballs as well.

Pistol Shrimp has a real-world counterpart, although working a bit differently. Real-life Pistol Shrimps can fire rapid-travelling cavitation bubbles by snapping their poweful claws, thus creating high pressure in the area. The speed and temperature of the bubble is enough to kill small fish.
